The screen position does not define the mathematics
A jackpot feature appearing beside a slot does not necessarily form part of that slot’s own prize distribution. The operator may offer an additional participation mechanism with a separate cost and separate rules. Treating every visible jackpot amount as a native feature of the underlying title can combine two different products in one comparison.
A concrete operator-published example
The DraftKings Casino App Store description captured for this release describes an opt-in jackpot cost deducted in addition to the main game wager. It also states that its jackpots are determined independently by a separate random-number generator and do not affect the linked underlying games. Those are attributed statements about that described product, not a claim that all casino jackpots work the same way.
Ask which return figure covers which cost
A provider’s headline RTP for the underlying game does not, by itself, describe an additional jackpot participation mechanism. To compare the combined arrangement, the separate cost, eligibility conditions and prize rules would need their own evidence. A larger displayed pool is not enough information to calculate a combined expected return or a personal winning probability.
What belongs beside a live meter
A meaningful jackpot record identifies the product, currency, pool, participating scope and observation timestamp. It should also distinguish a progressive meter from a fixed paytable award. Casimo’s jackpot research page leaves an unsupported feed explicitly disconnected; it does not animate an estimate or invent winner announcements to make the page look active.
3 lenses. One source question.
Identify the mechanism before comparing the meter.
Participation cost and opt-in conditions are part of the product, not footnotes.
A jackpot announcement is not evidence of the recipient’s bank-delivery interval.
