# Why “approved” is not the same as “paid”

Track operator processing and payment delivery as two separate clocks.

By Casimo Research. Explanatory guide; not a first-person casino test.

## Clock one: the operator

Record the request, document requests, verification, approval and the actual payment-sent event separately. An approval message does not by itself establish that a payment instruction has been sent.

## Clock two: delivery

Once the operator confirms dispatch, record the method and reference if available. Payment rails and banks can have their own processing windows. Keep calendar days and business days distinct.

## Use a timeline, not a guessed arrival date

Casimo’s private Passport keeps your dates on your device. Aggregated reports require separate consent and do not establish how all customers are treated.
