# How to read a casino bonus without losing the conditions

## Five questions before a number

Who qualifies? Is a purchase required for this specific offer? Which balance must be played, how many times, on which games? What expires? What caps or redemption restrictions apply?

## Separate arithmetic from probability

A turnover calculation is not an expected cash payout. RTP alone does not establish the chance of surviving a wagering requirement, and a cap changes the distribution of outcomes.

## Look for conflicts
