# What “source-backed” means on Casimo

Evidence, observation dates, unknowns, contradictions and corrections explained.

By Casimo Research. Explanatory guide; not a first-person casino test.

## A source is a record, not a guarantee

Casimo keeps source URLs, short excerpts and observation dates. A document hash identifies a captured version; it does not prove the operator is truthful or the clause enforceable.

## First capture is a baseline

We do not label a first snapshot as a terms change or backdate our monitoring. The Time Machine only contains versions actually captured or explicitly imported from an identified historical source.

## Unknowns stay visible

Missing values, blocked source fetches, conflicting conditions and small payout samples are shown explicitly. We do not replace them with a model’s guess or an invented trust score.
