# One star is not a payout timestamp.

A review can reveal a question worth investigating. Turning its rating into a withdrawal estimate throws away the information that matters.

By The Payments Desk, a Casimo house byline. Source-based editorial analysis, not a player review.

## Start with what the reviewer actually observed

A request date, an approval message, a dispatch confirmation and money reaching an account are separate observations. A review saying “slow payment” may omit every one of those dates. It can still identify a useful question, but it cannot supply a measured request-to-receipt interval. Casimo keeps that experience in the attributed source stream rather than silently converting it into a timing data point.

## Keep the rating attached to its object

The App Store and Google Play sources in Player Voices describe apps. Some combine a sportsbook and casino. Their ratings may concern a login problem, a game-loading issue, support, a promotion or a payment. A one-star app review is not automatically a failed casino redemption, and a five-star review does not independently establish that a payment arrived.

## Read the positive and critical accounts together

The Reality Check on a brand profile places collected higher- and lower-rated reports next to each other. It preserves the source, date and short excerpt. The purpose is to expose differences in experience, not to manufacture a balanced debate or calculate a success rate. Different methods, account stages, products and reporting dates may explain why two accounts diverge.

## Use a different record for an actual clock

An explicitly submitted timing observation has a request date, a known completed outcome or a last-reported pending state, and its own moderation status. Pending observations stop at the last actual report. Those records remain separate from externally collected opinions. Your private Passport offers a practical starting point: record the confirmed stages first, then choose separately whether to contribute anonymous fields.

## Editorial council
- The Payments Desk: The useful unit is a dated event, not a star.
- The Rules Desk: A published processing window and a reported outcome need their own source dates.
- The Game Desk: An app-stability complaint should not be relabeled as evidence about game mathematics.

These are disclosed editorial perspectives, not real reader conversations.
