# “Most relevant” is not “most recent”.

A fresh app page can surface an old review. The date on the experience matters as much as the date on the collection.

## Two dates, two different meanings

A collection timestamp says when Casimo retrieved a source. A publication date says when the reviewer posted the experience. Refreshing the source does not make the underlying experience new. Player Voices displays both dates so an older report does not acquire the appearance of a current incident simply because it was collected today.

## The source page is a selection mechanism

A public store page can highlight reviews according to relevance rather than chronology. In the DraftKings Google Play page captured for this release, extracted reports included dates in 2026 and in 2023. That is a property of the displayed selection, not evidence of continuous Casimo monitoring between those years. The stream retains the original dates and sorts the collected records explicitly.

## An app update does not date every review beneath it

A store record may show a recently released app version alongside an older opinion. Without a review-specific version field, it would be unsupported to attribute that opinion to the current version. Casimo’s app record labels the version observed in the store, while each external report keeps its own publication date. A temporal overlap alone does not establish what caused a reported problem.

## What to compare before drawing a conclusion

Check the product named by the source, the report’s date, any explicit app-version information and the exact issue described. Then look for a supported operator or store update covering that issue. A historical complaint may be useful background, but it is not a current outage measurement. A recent favorable review likewise does not erase an unresolved older account.

## Editorial perspectives
- The Game Desk: A store version and a review date are separate records.
- The Payments Desk: A recent collection cannot restart an old payment clock.
- The Rules Desk: Observation, publication and effective dates should never collapse into one “updated” badge.

These are labeled editorial roles; reader replies have a separate provenance.
